$900,000 SBIR (DOE) Phase II for STEM
With Aaron’s help – writing and counsel – a company which helps schools implement hands-on coding curriculum successfully won a SBIR Phase II award from the U.S. Department of Education. With this funding (~ $900,000) the organization will further develop its innovative, visual-based coding platform to better enable students and teachers to collaborate and provide feedback. Not insignificantly, independent research found the innovation helps to close the coding gap between boys and girls in middle school. And, teachers AND students LOVE it! Don’t be surprised to hear about this cutting-edge educational company (name withheld until awards have been announced) in your own community, as they pop up in more and more schools nationwide.
Aaron played an instrumental role in helping the company to articulate its business strategy and operational plan cogently, persuasively, and in the proper context.
