On March 7 The Salvation Army of Central Maryland will open DMG Foods, the first non-profit grocery store of its kind in the nation. The store will fuse nutritious food, health education, workforce development and food-pantry operations under one roof. The store was made possible, partly, with a grant from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. Below is a recent news segment about the grand opening.
