$126,403 Capital Grant for Mental Health
Today the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health received full funding for a proposed $126,000 infrastructure project that will enable the organization to implement an electronic health records system. This agency is one of the largest of its kind in Manhattan and helps some of the most under-served in the city — with most clients relying on Medicaid or having no insurance. This grant will allow the company to purchase computers and other equipment and rewire its buildings to enable high speed connections, enabling all exam rooms to be equipped with the latest information technology. The grant was provided by the State of New York through the Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program. Aaron completed this massive application in approximately 8 days.
